Yun-I consultation nurse Yi-Ting shared this story:

This couple lives in Australia. The wife is 41 years old this year, has been married for five years, and has polycystic ovaries.

Previously in Australia, she had undergone hysteroscopic polyp removal and laparoscopic surgery to treat adhesions on one side of the ovary.

She had also taken ovulation medication several times, but still did not become pregnant.

The following year, she returned to her family home in Kaohsiung and began IVF treatment.

After evaluation and examinations in Kaohsiung, it was found that the endometrial polyp was still present, so she underwent another hysteroscopic surgery.

She then underwent IVF treatment at two different fertility centers.

In both cycles, 8 eggs were retrieved and 4 blastocysts were frozen, but after testing, all results were abnormal.

After surgery, she even went to the emergency room because of severe abdominal pain.

This experience left her physically and emotionally exhausted, but she still refused to give up.

In April this year, she returned to Taiwan and decided to receive treatment at Yun-I in Taipei.

Her AMH was 2.71, which was not too poor, but ultrasound examination showed that the endometrial problem still remained.

Dr. Hui-Po Li recommended combining hysteroscopic surgery on the same day as egg retrieval.

Dr. Yi-Liang Li used a cold knife technique to remove the lesions.

It was found that, in addition to polyps, there was also endometrial hyperplasia.

This time, 16 eggs were retrieved, 6 blastocysts were frozen, and all underwent PGT testing.

One embryo was completely normal, and another was low-level mosaic.

For the first time in five years, they finally saw a glimmer of hope.

After egg retrieval, she returned to Australia to rest for a period of time.

In July, she came back to Yun-I for transfer of the chromosomally normal embryo.

She is now more than 10 weeks pregnant.

At the end of September, she returned to Australia with the baby in her womb to reunite with her husband and await delivery.

A long wait, repeated examinations and surgeries, disappointment again and again, and the courage to start over each time.

Their persistence finally brought the long-awaited good pregnancy.

Her successful story should come from continuous effort and the blessing that this couple deserved.

We wish her a smooth pregnancy journey in Australia from here on!

Yun-I wishes you good pregnancy luck!
