✨ A Miracle Where Dreams Come True: A Touching Journey from Miscarriage to New Life ✨
【Good Pregnancy Story】
She is 42 years old and got married at the age of 40.
After marriage, she devoted herself fully to the hope of having her own baby.
However, last year, both of her pregnancies ended in miscarriage due to advanced maternal age and embryo abnormalities, and she underwent two uterine curettage procedures.
When she came to Yun-I last August, Dr. Hui-Po Li discovered that her uterine cavity had developed adhesions due to the curettage procedures, making implantation more difficult.
At the same time, her AMH level was low, meaning her ovarian reserve was quite limited.
After conditioning her eggs, she underwent egg retrieval in October.
Under anesthesia, she also underwent hysteroscopic surgery at the same time to separate the intrauterine adhesions and improve the chance of implantation.
In the end, after the small number of embryos that developed underwent PGT testing, only one embryo was found to be normal.
In November, we transferred this one and only healthy embryo for her.
✨ The Days of Waiting Are Always Full of Challenges ✨
Nine days after embryo transfer, her HCG pregnancy level was only 59, lower than the ideal value of 100.
This made both the Yun-I team and the parents-to-be extremely nervous.
During the follow-up visits, although the numbers continued to rise steadily, the progress still seemed somewhat difficult.
At 5 and a half weeks, her HCG finally exceeded 1800, and a gestational sac could faintly be seen on ultrasound, but the situation was still not very optimistic.
It was not until the 6-week follow-up visit, when the ultrasound showed a regular and strong heartbeat inside the tiny gestational sac, that everyone finally breathed a sigh of relief and felt overjoyed!
✨ A Strong Little Life Finally Arrived! ✨
In a case like this, with advanced maternal age, very few eggs, intrauterine adhesions, and only one PGT-A chromosomally normal embryo, becoming pregnant successfully on the first IVF transfer after hysteroscopic surgery was truly rare and fortunate.
Even though the HCG rise and gestational sac development were slow, this little life continued to grow with determination, just like a seed pushing upward to sprout, bringing endless surprise and joy.
As Dr. Li often says, “Life will naturally find a way!”
✨ Not Just an Ordinary Prenatal Checkup Day, but a Very Special Day! ✨
At 9 weeks and 2 days of pregnancy, she returned to Yun-I for follow-up.
By chance, we discovered that the day happened to be her birthday 🎂!
Our team specially prepared a small cake, sang Happy Birthday to her, and celebrated this double joy together.
The mother’s eyes turned red with emotion as she smiled and said, “Hearing the baby’s heartbeat already made me so happy. I never expected everyone to celebrate my birthday too. I’m truly so grateful!”
We hope to share this happiness and emotion with every family working hard toward good pregnancy 💞.
May all parents-to-be who are waiting for a miracle of life embrace their own happiness!
Yun-I wishes your dreams come true!
