Ms. Hui-Ni Kuo
I quietly disappeared for a while recently~
Because I went off to “hatch an egg” and give birth to my third baby.
Yesterday morning, baby brother was born smoothly, and I am safe and well too. He weighs 3,000 grams, is very healthy, and his cry is super loud and strong!
Hearing that powerful cry on the delivery table moved me so much that I could not stop crying~
I hope this sudden good news does not surprise everyone too much, haha!
I originally thought my son would look like me, but he actually looks even more like my husband than my daughters do. My genes have truly been completely defeated.
Right before delivery, the pandemic suddenly became severe, and I was so nervous and anxious.
I was afraid the hospital might be closed, afraid I might not be able to have my cesarean section surgery… I worried about so many things.
Thankfully, my husband has always been my source of calm. He stayed optimistic and positive, took good care of the family, and allowed me to go into delivery without any worries.
Thank you, my husband~ I truly married the right person.
When I was carrying my hospital bag and leaving home, my daughter suddenly looked like she was about to cry. I held back my tears and did not dare cry in front of them, because I was afraid that if Mommy cried too, they would be scared.
The moment I stepped out the door, I burst into tears. A pregnant woman’s tear glands are really so active.
No matter how the outside world changes, as long as the whole family can stay together, that is true happiness.
After this pregnancy, I am closing this chapter and will not take on any more risks.
I especially want to thank my attending physician, Dr. Hui-Po Li, for his careful care throughout the entire journey.
I originally thought I was someone who could get pregnant very easily, because my twin girls were conceived naturally and succeeded right away.
I was anxious and did not want to wait until I was forty, so I tried naturally while also starting treatment with Dr. Li.
All I can say is, as long as Dr. Li is there, I feel completely reassured!
Baby brother was very well-behaved in my belly, except that he made me vomit from beginning to end, even during the surgery.
But compared with being pregnant with my twin girls, when it was difficult to move, I had to stay in bed for months, felt anxious, worried about preterm birth, and later had pain all over my bones…
Carrying one baby was really so much easier!!!!
Yun-I performs singleton embryo transfer and does not aim for multiple pregnancies, and that is truly the right approach.
This pregnancy was really stable and smooth, and it reduced many worries about complications.
I felt grounded and was able to truly enjoy the pregnancy journey.
I also want to thank the doctors and nurses at Chung Shan, Yun-I, and Taipei Medical University Hospital for their companionship and prenatal care, helping me fulfill my wish of becoming a mother of three.
Having a baby is truly not easy.
I hope everyone can have their dreams come true like I did, and that all babies are born safe and healthy.
Today is the first day after delivery, and I hope getting out of bed will go smoothly. I am so scared, because it hurt so much last time.
Everyone, please cheer me on!
