A Review of Yun-I That Exceeded My Expectations ❤️
Ever since we publicly shared that we conceived through IVF,
the question most people wanted to ask but never did was: Why did you do IVF when you’re still so young?
When we had our premarital health checkups,
we not only gained a better understanding of each other’s health conditions,
but also discovered a hereditary disease in the family.
Because of this, we became concerned about having children…
Later, I came across articles online about PGT
and learned that chromosome screening can be performed at the early embryo stage
to screen out embryos carrying the disease.
After doing some research, I found that although this technology exists,
it is quite expensive, and very few people do it!
Many clinic consultants, and even some doctors themselves,
could not clearly explain the process,
let alone the so-called success rate.
After consulting with several institutions, we chose Yun-I Fertility Center.
After completing the entire treatment process, I can truly say that I was “more satisfied than expected” 👍🏻
Process
The whole process took about one year.
First, genetic confirmation was done at National Taiwan University Hospital.
Then, at Yun-I, I underwent egg retrieval and embryo freezing, followed by genetic probe testing through PGT-M, also known as PGD, to select embryos not carrying the disease.
PGT-A, also known as PGS, was then performed through biopsy to confirm chromosomally normal embryos. I became pregnant successfully after just one embryo transfer.
The reasons I recommend Yun-I are as follows:
- The nurses are very professional and truly understand the patient’s condition
Throughout the entire treatment process at Yun-I,
the nurse assisting the doctor was not always the same person each time.
However, my condition, medication, and treatment plan only needed to be registered once,
and everything was clearly communicated.
Later, I even noticed that
as soon as the elevator doors opened, before I even entered the clinic,
the front desk staff already knew who had arrived!
Before you even checked in, your information had already been passed along.
There was no need to say, “Who am I?” or “What am I here for?”
It was truly amazing.
- They have excellent command of the treatment process
For the nearly six-month treatment process,
the time and cost required for each step
were clearly explained at the very beginning and within a short period of time.
Although this should be basic,
sorry, but I had been to a very, very famous clinic before,
and from the senior doctor to the nurses and consultants,
everyone gave a different answer about the process.
It was shocking. Had they never done this before?
- Yun-I’s customer service provides professional and immediate answers
Throughout the process, everyone’s condition before and after procedures is different.
Whenever I felt unwell or had any situation,
I wanted to ask immediately or look up information.
But there is so much misinformation online.
Many situations require an answer right away, immediately.
Yun-I always had reassuring answers.
Anyone who has gone through surgery will understand.
As far as I know, many clinics will simply ask you to “come back for another appointment.”
But Yun-I’s professional nurses
can answer your questions right away,
without making you wait in line again for another consultation.
- Yun-I’s customer service response speed is incredible
No matter what time it is,
they even reply in the middle of the night,
which makes you feel extremely reassured.
Even when the timing of test results does not allow for an immediate follow-up visit,
they are very empathetic and may first inform you verbally over the phone.
- Excellent appointment scheduling!
The scariest part of treatment is endless waiting for your number to be called.
At the first clinic I consulted with,
just waiting to see the doctor took 3 to 4 hours 😅
I had about 40 visits at Yun-I.
Basically, check-in, examination, consultation, blood draw, medication pick-up, and payment
could usually be completed within 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Very often, even the parking fee was under one hour.
The purpose of making an appointment is not to waste time waiting.
Small details reveal the clinic’s administrative capability.
- Dr. Li is professional, gentle, and has a trustworthy presence
IVF success is greatly affected by each person’s physical condition,
so I cannot really compare success rates.
But people around me who underwent treatment here all succeeded.
I like that the doctor does not exaggerate.
Instead, he rationally guided us through each step,
allowing us to face everything with a calm mindset.
- They actually use original brand medications
Not to mention the suppositories and injections,
even the ointment for my allergy was an original brand medication.
As a pharmacist myself, I had truly never seen this before!
- The nurses are very empathetic when giving injections
Throughout the treatment, I received at least 50 injections at the clinic.
There could be medication allergies, bruising, and emotional ups and downs.
But the nurses never became emotionally disconnected from me just because they gave injections so often.
I can’t believe I wrote this many points.
In short,
these are my genuine thoughts after completing the entire treatment process.
