Sharing my egg freezing 🥚 diary 📔
In February of Year 113, because my menstrual cycle had become irregular, I went to the hospital to have my uterus checked and had blood tests done.
At that time, my AMH level was 3.83. Since I am a 35++ woman, I felt very happy about it.
Unexpectedly, half a year later, when I had another blood test, my AMH level had dropped to 3.43 — a direct decrease of 0.4. I was really shocked at that time‼️
The doctor said that once AMH starts to decline, it is irreversible 🤯
So right then and there, I immediately made a decision: “I’m going to freeze my eggs 🥚!!”
After researching and consulting with several clinics～

🎈On the second day of my period, I immediately made an appointment with Dr. Li for an ultrasound to check the condition of my ovaries.
After the doctor’s evaluation and examination, I used short-acting medication and needed to go home to inject the ovulation stimulation shots by myself.

While performing the ultrasound, Dr. Li explained how the eggs were developing after the medication and also adjusted the injections and medication according to my personal condition.
Although the number of follow-up visits increased later and the medication also increased, Dr. Li’s philosophy was: “Since we are freezing eggs, we hope to retrieve as many as possible in one cycle. Even if some eggs are smaller or developing differently, we should not give up on them. We will still use medication 💊 to help them grow.” 👍🏻
🎈The treatment process took about 10 days. On day 11, I received the trigger shot 💉
The purpose was to allow the mature follicles to rupture and release mature eggs smoothly, followed by egg retrieval surgery within 34–36 hours.
On the morning of the surgery, I was actually very nervous.
During the preoperative preparation, the medical staff explained each step and what stage we were at, which helped me feel calmer and more reassured.
After receiving sleep anesthesia, I quickly fell asleep, and the surgery was completed before I even realized it!!
The process was recorded. Afterwards, the nursing staff showed me the video of the egg retrieval, and I found it both fascinating and very touching 😆
The result～ In total 🟰🎊 22 eggs were retrieved, and 22 eggs were frozen～ I was super happy 😚 Throwing flowers 🎉
